House Fire At Centennial Trail, In Duluth

Firefighters responded to a report of a residential fire from a neighbor. The fire was located at the 3900 block of Centennial Trail, in Duluth.

Crews arrived to find a large two story residential structure with heavy fire and smoke showing from the back of the home. Crews immediately took an offensive mode of operations. Firefighters entered the structure to search for victims and battle the blaze. Upon entry, crews quickly found the home vacant. Due to intense fire conditions, firefighters were pushed back out of the home.

Using numerous handlines and elevated streams, crews controlled the blaze and kept the fire from spreading to a nearby residence.

There are no injuries to report. Crews are on the scene performing overhaul. Investigators are on the scene for cause determination.
